Yey, snow at last! and guess who’s got the sledge out? ;)
When the snow finally showed up and settled this weekend, everyone well I think almost everyone got excited…
specially me and my little girl.
This was our first sledging experience, so I made sure that the cold won’t spoil our fun by putting my “layers” on. Layers of thermal vest, long sleeve tops and knitwear… I had my thick coat over though just in case.
My thermal vest, black YOLO top, knitted top and waistcoat are all bought from Primark’s new year’s sale. The western style denim shirt bought during a final reduction sale from Marks&Spencer. The coat was purchased from Papaya(Matalan) last 2008, one of my first few coats since I got here in England.
The leather-look trousers was a half-price purchased from M&Co., a GAP knee-high socks for a few quid and a preloved boots purchased from a charity shop. These leather studded gloves was on sale for half-priced from New Look and the hat was from Edinburgh Woollen Mill store, bought during their boxing day sale.
and who says it’s too late to have a snowman in January? :)
I always love snow even before I got here in England 5 years ago, I dream of seeing and touching it one day. Yeah it’s cold and having too much snow is a hassle but I think everything just looks better sometimes when covered in white. You look around and it’s just magical and beautiful! .. but I must admit, a week of heavy snow in a year is quiet enough though ;)
Stay warm and thanks for dropping by.
