Rejoice, Spring is here.. Hooray!! I hope it’s treating you well so far :)
For me Spring is not just beautiful, it also brings hope and happiness.. For days are getting longer, temperatures warming and of course, plants are blossoming in time for summer. I don’t know about you, but those things certainly makes me happy. I always have a love and hate relationship with winter, but Spring is always a good idea!
So when you think of Spring fashion, Floral always comes first to mind right? And the best possible way to kick start my blog for spring, is talking about the timeless and classic symbol of the season- Floral. The best thing about this print is that you don’t have to keep updating your wardrobe by buying every season’s hottest floral prints all the time. Keeping your favourite ones for the next season will save you money, it’s how you style it to make it look up-to-date that matters.
I wore this outfit to lunch with my hubby and daughter to celebrate my thirty something birthday. It was a nice warm day considering Spring has just sprung, I didn’t have to wear any overlay at all i.e. cardigan, blazer or jacket. My floral print dress is from Primark, I wore a white collared shirt underneath to make it look more of a smart-casual outfit. Keeping it with the colour theme, I wore a black sunnies, black leather bag and white wedge sandals. I kept the jewelries minimal, as the floral print is already making a statement.
Other ways to wear floral..
Wear your florals to work and celebrate your hardwork with cocktails later :) Sleeveless blazer is very hot this season, paired it with your favourite floral print trousers if you don’t feel like wearing a dress but still wants to celebrate spring. Keep the tee simple, add a sexy lace up shoe boots and a fringe bag– very trendy!
Brightening up your floral spring outfit with this pink combo; perhaps as a wedding guest outfit, daytime date or a day at the races. Dress, shoes and bag are a fiver each, making the total cost of this outfit a bargainous £15, all from everything5pound.
