Hello Spring… and Happy Easter Too!

Easter celebration

Easter gift ideas and crafts

Hello everyone! I hope you’re having an eggciting EASTER holiday celebration so far. I mean what’s not to celebrate right? Easter means a lot of things… a very significant and meaningful things for that matter. Obviously not just because it’s a long bank holiday weekend, and that there’s plenty of chocolate Easter eggs and bunnies that are awaiting to be found and eaten (cheeky!)…

As a Christian, I celebrate Easter because it symbolizes the resurrection of Christ. The name Easter is derived from the Hebrew word pesach for “He passed over”, thus celebrating His resurrection is a foundation of Christian faith. Different countries have their own ways of celebrating Easter, although the feast day Easter was originally a pagan celebration to mark the beginning of Spring.

The start of my Spring however- was cheerful, sweet and very colourful indeed (that includes outfit)!

I found this pink flared skirt and white cotton top that has a floral carving like pattern to it in Primark, these two are my kind of cheap and cheerful. I paired it with my very old charity shop find cropped cardigan in colourful stripes, white bow belt (Primark), and my River Island white sandals.

For accessories; I’ve chosen this Chanel inspired necklace that’s so adorable, it has a miniature lipstick, Chanel No. 5 perfume and pearl details; and a hand-me-down multicolor Louis Vuitton mini pochette.
