Shoulder-baring, Off-the-shoulder, Bardot or Cold Shoulder, whatever you call this year’s hottest trend.. one thing for sure, it ain’t going nowhere! Our favourite summer must-have is getting a major update for the coming season, and with clever layering, this trend will see us right through winter. I mean what’s not to love? It’s sexy but subtle, it covers up parts that we don’t like exposing, (my chunky upper arms are good example) showing just the right amount of skin whilst flaunting one of woman’s daintiest asset.. yes ladies, shoulders are the new legs (or cleavage)! According to a new research, most British women would prefer to bare their shoulders than wear a revealing low cut top- oh so refined aren’t we? And it suits any age and totally versatile, as if we need more reason not to give this trend a cold shoulder!
So the new season clothing has just landed, and yeah, our beloved trend lives on..
Cold shoulder jumpers are perfect transitional outfit, just like this green chunky jumper with ruffles and the grey oversized one, both available from Asos.
When I said about clever layering, well these River Island layered bardot shirts are perfect examples.

Just like these ones from Asos. I’d pair it with denim short, espadrilles or flat sandals and sunglasses to complete an enviable summer OOTD.
