Life Sorties

Christmas Party Outfits

Yes!! I’ve mentioned the C word, and wether you like it or not, Christmas is just around the corner. So ladies, let’s sort out our priorities and start thinking about our party dresses! ;)

Sorry, I’m not normally this shallow but I have learned my lesson from the past. Leaving the party dress at the last minute or waiting until pay day is not always a good idea, as I ended up drooling at the dresses that I really wanted but doesn’t have my size anymore. So having to purchased the second best instead is not that comforting. Loving what you wear brings comfort, comfort brings out confidence, and confidence is everything right? So this year, I made sure my party dress is sorted out early. I’ve already browsed the interweb for affordable and reasonable priced- elegant and sexy (or both) party dresses, and because I can’t have them all, I might as well share with you my favourite ones. Hoping to give you some ideas with your party outfits and saves you time browsing as well.

So my first stop was Asos.

Asos elegant party dresses

I’m into maxi dresses at the moment, and these ones from Asos are right up my street (secretly wishing that Asos is actually just right up my street) haha! I would pair one of these with black or dark grey heeled sandals and a black or silver clutch. A statement necklace or earrings will be perfect but not both, you don’t want to look like a walking Christmas tree right? A side wave hairstyle or a romantic loose bun completes a very elegant party look.

 Topshop party dresses.

This Topshop silk grey maxi dress is both sexy and classy. Pair it with black with silver (or crystal) studded heeled sandals and black or silver clutch. For accessories, statement earrings and bracelets will be perfect. And oh, red lipstick is a must!

 F&F Tesco party dresses

If you’re going for the Little Black Dress, then go for LBD with a twist. Like this one from F&F Tesco with lace and floral detailing, very sophisticated! Pair it with black heels and red clutch for a pop of colour, and a lower bun hairstyle.

Boohoo party dresses

This thigh high slit black maxi dress from Boohoo with lace back to side details is beyond gorgeous, I can’t even. Just Simply Gorgeous!

Marks and Spencer party dresses

Marks and Spencer party dresses are just stunning! And they’ve picked the perfect colours for it too. A little bit pricey, but will definitely worth your every penny.

Missguided party dresses

If maxi dresses and LBD’s is not for you, these Missguided bodycon dresses are both colourful and classy. And the best bit? Those two are currently on offer. #Bargain!
