Greetings my lovely readers… hope you’re having a good if not fantastic weekend so far.
I’ve been wanting to wear this combo since early this summer, but this is the kind of outfit to wear to a nice evening meal and then dance the night away thereafter. I rarely go on a night out, and when I do it’s either a work Christmas do or an invitation by some friends, most of the time I’m unable to attend coz’ I’m doing my night shift.
I wore this last month when opportunity arisen, when a close friend of mine wanted to meet in town for a catch up with a bit of food and a boogie thereafter… and I couldn’t agree more!
This top is one of my favourite purchased ever from Primark. I love the neon green and how it suited my skin colour. The sexy back mesh cutout was just right for that sneaky sexy but still classy look, and the peplum style hides the right parts, especially if you’ve had too much to eat. I went for a more adventurous style by pairing it with this bold checked Zara shorts. Checked print has been seen plenty of times this summer, from LV’s dresses to high street brand skirts and trousers. I love how the lining of the pocket matched the colour of my top as well, and can you believe this heeled sandals was just £1? Bought it from Primark sale early this year, and was just perfect footwear of choice for this bold and bright combo.
The envelope clutch bag is Asos, a purchased from their final reduction sale last year. A black clutch bag will go just fine with this outfit, but I’ve chosen this one since I haven’t used it since the day I bought it. I went for a “can’t be bothered” fishtail plait and chosen a minimal accessory by just putting on this neon green gem ring.
I really love this combo, the boldness of the checked shorts and the brightness of this neon green peplum top just works well together. Thanks for reading my style story and hope to see you here again soon :)
